What is Reading head start program?
Reading Head Start system is an online reading system created by Sarah Shepard. This children reading system or this children reading program has been built to help teaching reading to your child step by step to make your child able to read.
We will see if that is true or not in a moment. But first, let’s see where this Sarah found out reading head start program…
How Sarah came up with reading head start program idea?
First off, Sarah is the first one when we’re talking about caring about children. She wants her 2 years daughter and her 6 years son to learn reading.
Just like any parent, that mom just wants to make sure their kids have great future, joining school, having high grades, and at the end, having great job.
So she started her researches on how to teach kids how to read.
Sarah noticed that the current way of teaching English in school was first developed in 1930 (Check this link for the history of education). But the shocking fact that she discovered about this is that it’s still being used today.
This means that our school system has NOT been updated!
Could you imagine using the same phone for 100 years? I know, it’s impossible! On average, you update your phone every 3 years if you are a normal user.
What about an entire education system?
That fact made Sarah start developing a new proven method based on latest studies from big universities like Harvard.
After all of her hard working and researching, she finished developing a proven method to teach her kids reading called “Reading Head Start”.
Note: most moms don’t know anything about teaching reading to their children, most of them are not even teachers. Sarah knew that, so she made her reading head start program very easy to follow for anyone. And of course, neither you or your child need to have any experience in teaching reading or in reading itself 😊.

So you can’t get new knowledge without a teacher or a specific program. You need to follow a proven program (not any program) in order to not just get new knowledge, also to achieve what you want from that knowledge.

Extremely busy parent
Let’s face it, if you want to raise a reader, you have to spend at least 15 mins for each lesson with your child, your child will not reach himself/herself the reading level that you might want him/her to achieve.
So, spend some time with your child, build a relationship, and then I’m sure you will be proud of your child after that.
Results may vary from child to child
You know that before.
Could you find a copy of your child in our world? No, it’s impossible. The same is here with joining any program.
But don’t worry, your child will learn reading at the end. The only thing that will be different is WHEN is that going to happen to your child. Maybe your child can learn reading in 12 weeks or more or less than that.
It’s not for none-speakers
This is obvious. If your child isn’t speaking yet, how they are going to read?
But even with that, we think you STILL need a reading program, even if your child isn’t speaking yet, but why?
First, your child will not be speechless forever. Soon enough your child will start speaking, right? Also, who knows what can happen to reading head start program, maybe it will be closed at the time your child starts speaking, or maybe the price will go up.
